Jesus Christ said that the greatest commandments are about love. The Message puts it this way: "Jesus said, 'Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.' This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: 'Love others as well as you love yourself.'" (Matthew 22) L - Learning to love God more.
O - Opening our doors to everyone.
V - Valuing communty with God and one another.
E - Equipping our members to serve. We are intentional about expressing our love to God and celebrating God's love for us. We involve God's children of all ages in worship, using a variety of music and art forms to express our love and devotion to God. We are intentional about experiencing God's joy, and we laugh a lot and know how to have fun.
We are intentional about experiencing and expressing God's love in all its fullness. We take seriously the truths of the Bible and strive to allow the Holy Spirit to apply them in our everyday lives. CARE is the name of our small groups ministry where together we encounter God and one another in seeing this happen. CARE groups are where we learn how to become "Contagious Christians" and develop a "conspiracy of kindness" for where we live, work, and play. There is a CARE group for every age.
